Spaß am Klugscheißen

Vor allem, wenn man den gemeinsam haben kann.

Ich hatte mich am Mittwoch mit Sara, meiner Spanierin aus Spanien beim Spanier getroffen (Sorry, das konnte ich mir einfach nicht verkneifen ) und wir wollten mal ausprobieren, wie Tapas in Deutschland so schmecken.

Mal ungeachtet der Tatsache, dass Tapas eigentlich umsonst mit dem Getränk daher kommen und man dafür nicht extra zahlt (Raciones oder Pinchos sind das übrigens, die man käuflich zum Verzehr erwerben kann).

Also einmal zum Geschmackstest treffen und zwar im Pata Negra auf der Karli (für alle Nicht-Leipziger: Karl-Liebknecht-Straße in der Südvorstadt).

Bevor wir schmausen konnten, ein Blick in die Speisekarte und mal flottig nebenher ‘ne Menge Rechtschreib- und auch Inhaltsfehler gefunden. Manchmal kann man einfach nicht anders. Hätten ’se mal jemanden ran gelassen, der sich damit auskennt.

Egal, einmal Patas Bravas und einmal Patas con Alioli bestellt.

Nett gemeint, aber alles ganz weit weg vom Spanischen Original. Schade eigentlich.

Schön war es trotzdem auf der Karli in der Sonne zu sitzen.

I have an environmentally friendly bicycle - why doesn’t that count for something? 0 points

Wear Cologne

Does perfume count? I used to have that, went missing and didn’t come back and for the life of me I can’t remember where I left it … it’s my birthday in July, so I probably will get one. 0.5 point for that.

Move to Williamsburg

Replace that with Berlin and that’s the plan anyway as soon as I find an employer who sees how totally awesome and cool I am … for the plan, I grant myself 0.5 points

Learn to speak European

Oh come on … I speak English and Spanish - a sweet point each, makes 2 points and who tells the poor nerdy kid about the fact that European isn’t one language but a bazillion? My poor translator heart hurts as a result of so much ignorance.

Grow facial hair.

Not if it can be avoided. No way, no how. No way, José. 0 points. Very gladly granted.

Helmets & Mohawk

Hang on, shouldn’t be a girly list for that? Facial hair and helmets are not really a criteria for us.

Designer Shades

I am wearing my nerd glasses since the 6^th grade. Only recently I started using lenses and I bought myself a really nice pair of shades at the Grey Lynn Festival in Auckland. I heavily doubt though that this deserves any points. 0 points

Hell yeah! I am doing this already. Much to the dislike of Adam who keeps buying me t-shirts with colour on them. I knew I should stick to my original plan and wear all black. 1 point

Overrated place in the USA. Not interested the slightest at all whatsoever. Taking happily 0 points for that.

Online friendships

Tricky one seeing as I prefer a real life meet up with beverages being consumed to one’s liking. 0 points.

I’d be happy about my old NES Nintendo thingy with Super Mario Brothers 3 and Kirby’s Adventure (bought myself a plush toy Kirby in Tokyo - very sweet, but not cool ). 0 points
